Prior to the game against Glodwick, the team had 3 straight wins and an abandoned game against Werneth. Turning up for the home tie we stood at joint top of the league with 3 to play, before going into the divisional section of the leagues.

We simply didn't have our concentration heads on and lost way too many wickets, 13 in fact of which 7 were run outs. Batting first we struggled to get any hold in the game and before we knew it had scored 278 runs but for the loss of 13 wickets (226 net score).
Something spoecial was required from the bowling and fielding, but unfortunately we couldn't claw back any hugely positive overs to penn a strong and organised Glodwick team. They finished on 295 for 3 (283 net score).

A day we need to remember and learn from going forward.
