It was a very chilly evening at Uppermills ground tonight. And with a couple of debutants in the team we made a good effort against Uppermill scoring 230 runs. Unfortunately we lost a couple of wickets from kamikaze running between the wickets that halted some good batting.
In reply Uppermill started very strongly scoring 12 in the first over and unfortunately we were unable to take wickets until late on when they had already past our batting total. Uppermill finished with 242 and a deserved victory.
A lot of positives tonight and also a lot to work on at training. Onwards and upwards.
